Thousands of professionals flocked to the Salon MPA’s 27th annual conference in search of bettering their best practices.

We recently attended the annual Salon MPA, organized by the Mouvement Québécois de la Qualité. The event, which took place at Montréal’s Place des Arts, hosted thousands of business leaders, experts and enthusiasts – all looking to improve their business’ practices and innovate their processes. To help them in this pursuit, the event was filled with fascinating conferences, in-depth discussions and inspiring courses offered by experts. Innodirect was once again fortunate enough to participate in the event, showcasing our platform at lucky kiosk number 1. We were encouraged by the amount of interest shown in our solution – in fact there wasn’t a moment where our kiosk was without a group of curious attendees!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to share their experiences and frustrations about communicating openly within their organizations, across sectors, with clients or manufacturers. There seems to be a notable shift towards making employees feel heard and valued as individuals, and it was heartening to hear so many people in positions of power express their desire to fortify the values and ethics of their organizations by improving their employees’ well-being at work. To demonstrate just how we could assist in these areas, we created a message board where participants wrote down the ways in which we could help them with their specific issues, as well as why they think their employees or colleagues might not share their opinions.
We asked participants to write down what they thought were the central issues of idea-communication at work and how we could help improve their business.
Each person who shared their perspective also entered their name into a draw to win a very good bottle of wine. We were delighted to watch our message board expand with issues that we could help solve; from how to go about organizing a company move, to how to learn about employees’ concerns before installing new software they’d have to use. On that note, we’d like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the winner of our competition, Ms. Audrey Favre, manager of continuous improvement at CTT Group. Ms. Favre plays an instrumental role in affecting positive change within her company – and we think the wine she won was well-deserved! We wish her all the best in her mission to make her company’s best practices even better.
